Palladium

Not all commodities are at new all time highs.

Palladium for example is about 60% below its 2001 highs. This volatile metal was trading anywhere between ~1100$ and less then 100$ over the last 30 years.

There are several ways to invest, trade and speculate in palladium:

1) Physical palladium: Palladium ETF (LSE: PHPD) and palladium maple coins.

2) Palladium derivatives: Futures (Nymex: PA)

3) Palladium mining stocks: SWC, PAL.

ye, but palladium is "the unknown" metal. Is there something that is made from palladium and can not be done from anything else?

you know - silver is better conductor than copper, gold is monetary and medical metal, paltinuum is for diesel engine catalizators.

Yes basically palladium can be used as a substitute for platinum. Are there any uses of palladium that cannot be substitute buy other metals? , I think there are but they must be minor. Keep an eye on palladium vs. platinum price deferential. For more info on palladium uses see :
